通常のサワーは蒸留酒と炭酸を合わせたものに果汁などを加えた飲み物ですが、「しまなみ超いよかんサワー」はクラフトビールの醸造技術を使ったサワーテイストの発泡酒。醸造酒ならではの程よい発酵の香りと自然な甘みが感じられるよう試行錯誤して生まれた透明なクラフトビール（ハードセルツァー）に、愛媛県産伊予柑(いよかん)果汁を贅沢に加えて仕上げました。
ひと口飲むと、伊予柑の爽やかな香りとジューシーな果汁感、しっかりとした甘みが広がります。さらにレモン果汁を加えることで、伊予柑の甘みにほどよい酸味をプラス。甘さと酸味のバランスがとれた、すっきりとした飲み心地に仕上げるためにアルコール度数は3.0％としました。伊予柑のおいしさを存分に楽しめる一杯です。
氷ありと氷なしで味わいが変わる！
氷を入れるとさっぱりとした飲み口に。氷無しのグラスで飲むと温度が上がるにつれて酸味がとれてまろやかに。醸造酒らしい自然な甘みと酵母の香りが楽しめます。
